Trickster is a creator, a joker, a truth teller, a story teller, a transformer linked to the spiritual frequency changes humanity is experiencing at this time.

“We seem most accessible to the synchronistic gifts of the Trickster when we ourselves are at or near boundaries or are experiencing transition states, periods of major life transitions seem to be occasioned by an abundance of meaningful coincidence. Personal gtrirowth sees not only to facilitate synchronicity, but in turn to be facilitated by it. As an archetype, the Trickster, the boundary dweller, finds expression through human imagination and experience.”

Posted by Gravity On January - 17 - 2012

Friday, February 10th, 2011 – 9pm to 10:15pm

Another fabulous pre-Pink play-shop coming your way

Every Pink party launches with a playshop free for party goers. This month we consider how to make kinky toys from everyday objects:

Convertible Pervert-ables!!

Everyday items transformed into delicious toys of sensual torture and delight? Are your ready to pervert your kitchen utensils? Yes? Yes! In this class we will discover the wonderful world of kinky toy making. Topics will include how to use your creativity when making your pervert-ables, materials that are well suited for kinky crafting, safety, and ways of making your new toys work for you. This class is geared towards those who want to add some variety to their toy bags as well as folks committed to having the only one of a kind! Whether you are edgy or just playful this playshop will help you to be creatively sexy!

Presenter: UltraViolet

A San Francisco native, UltraViolet is known as an “energizer Top” – she can play all night and still want more, much to the delight of her lucky playmates. Some of the toys that she has a special fondness for are single tails, floggers, and the dreaded yet also welcomed rubber bands, also known as “candy stripes”. In her spare time she enjoys corset-making, fetish photography, and conspiring with other sadists. UltraViolet also has a talent for making her own “implements of torture” as most of your “garden variety” toys are just not quite mean enough for her.

We have put an idea in motion and invited people to join us.
We selected a location and a date- the rest is up to you. It’s an experiment in self organizing celebration
We expect a hundred people will show up- maybe two. People are registering every day.

There will be performances, workshops, talks, rituals, music, dance, and storytelling, happening all day every day, but don’t expect to sit back and be entertained. We are coming together on equal footing, and your contribution is vital. Soon we will send out more information about the different ways you can participate. If you want to perform, teach, talk, guide, or lead then there will be an opportunity for that to happen.

Led by Brendan Random
January 7, 2012 | 9:00pm – 10:00pm, doors at 8:45pm

Events at Mission Control are for members only | Become a member, it’s free and instant

Cost: Free with admission to Essence

Essence and Theater of The Sacred are summoning you to grow into the deeper, imaginal, fertile and sexy domain of your SELF-expression. From 9 to 10pm, before the party begins, please join director/educator Brendan Random for an earth-magic-ritual-theater workshop to Re-Divine your raw and sublime natural essence.

Brendan will guide us in moving meditation and elemental trance practice. Once in a deeper state of receptivity, divine, archetypal personages will be introduced for the poetic mind to choose from and dive into. The final portion of the playshop will bring participants together to interact and prepare for further engagement throughout the evening. What happens when a creature of fire and a creature of water interact? They make steam and possibly more. Find out for yourself at the Essence Playshop and get warmed up for an amazing evening of connection and exploration.

PrePink: Who’s the Boss?

Posted by Gravity On November - 15 - 2011

Friday, November 9th | 9pm-10:15pm

Who’s the Boss?

For those who want to add a little spice, playfulness, fantasy, and mental connection to their sex lives, this class is for you! Undressing, kissing, dirty talk, and foreplay- all the sexy things you already do can be slightly adjusted to fit into bedroom dominance. We will start by introducing the idea of playing with power exchange and discuss using safewords to enhance your play. We’ll show some specific techniques to get you started (including kissing, hair pulling, verbalization, and using teeth and nails for maximum effect), and finish it off with a detailed demonstration of reading and using body language in this context.

Presented by Chey & Stefanos:

As Purveyors of Perversion, Stefanos and Chey are well known for teaching classes that are entertaining (they’ve been called “better than a Vegas act”) and also packed with useful and applicable information. They have performed, presented, and hosted events at many venues including the SF Citadel, Mission Control, Kink.com, NorthWest Leather Celebration, KinkAcademy.com, Bondage-a-Go-Go, San Francisco’s Supper Club, Behind Closed Doors in Arizona, and in a number of documentaries across the world. While both Stefanos and Chey primarily identify as Dominants, they have both switched during their combined 15+ years in the public scene. They identify as pansexual polyamorist playsluts (and probably a few other P’s they haven’t thought of yet).

Free with Pink party entry. Always free for Allies.

Palenque 2012 Vision Meeting

Posted by Gravity On November - 13 - 2011

Tuesday, November 15th | 7-9pm

Join Scott & Polly on NOVEMBER 15th at MISSION CONTROL from 7-9pm for a VISION MEETING.  Hear the vision from Polly and Scott’s perspective, and tell us what you want to see happen at the festival. Come, meet your fellow adventurers!

This will be a chance to get together, hear the story behind this event, share your ideas and start to collaborate!

What is Palenque?:

Deep in the jungles of southern Mexico, embedded in cryptic carvings on the tomb of a great king, there lies a prophetic message: On Spring Equinox 2012 the stars will align to signify the birth of a new Creation, the end of one Great Round and the dawn of a new era.

From March 18th- 25th 2012 people from all over the world with gather in a pristine rainforest location close to the entrance of the ruins of Palenque in Chiapas, Mexico. With reverence and respect to the Mayan people and their land, we will explore the mysteries of this prophecy, and celebrate the potential of what it could mean. This is your chance to be part of history, standing on the Great Temples of Palenque in 2012 celebrating art, history, mysticism, cross cultural community, and global apotheosis.

Unlike a traditional festival, this will be an exploration we embark on together, as an experiment in self organizing celebration. There will be performances, workshops, talks, rituals, music, dance, and storytelling, happening all day every day all over the site, but don’t expect to sit back and be entertained. We are coming together on equal footing, and your contribution is vital. Soon we will send out more information about the different ways you can participate. If you want to perform, teach, talk, guide, or lead then there will be an opportunity for that to happen.

Just a few of the things which are lining up:
- Learn to explore, understand and write Mayan glyphs and math
- Experience sound rituals and performances
- Craft mythic personas to explore together
- Campfire storytelling with local guides
- Learn about the classic Maya period with local archaeologists
- Take a jungle hike the forgotten temple ‘Ovidado’
- Explore Sacred Theater and embodying archetypes
- Learn about the Maya skies with astro-archaeologists
