Charlie Glickman is the Education Program Manager at Good Vibrations, a writer, blogger, sex educator, and (when he can get the gig) a university professor. Every Pink party launches with a playshop free for party goers. This month we learn a little about freestyle bondage.

Bind without Twine: Bondage Ad Libitum!

Whether you don’t own rope or just want to experiment with something a little more unexpected, this class will have something for you! We will succinctly discuss safety and negotiation for restraint, then jump right into involving you in creating bondage with unconventional materials. From the expected (neckties, belts) to the less cliche (the clothes off their backs, nylons, pillowcases, necklaces), this playshop will look at a large variety of “found” bondage implements and how to apply these safely and creatively. Just wrapping a pair of pantyhose around your partner’s hands isn’t going to cut it- we will cover the entire process, from specific application guidelines (including variations like limb to limb bondage vs tying off to furniture), execution in context, setting and maintaining a “mood” for your scene (from silly to sadistic), all the way to aftercare and follow-up. Then practice what you learned at Pink after the playshop- no extra supplies required!

About Stefanos and Shay:
As Purveyors of Perversion, Stefanos and Shay are known for teaching classes that are entertaining (they’ve been called “better than a Vegas act”) and also packed with useful and applicable information. Their classes always include a detailed handout. Together they host events and teach classes several times a month in SF Bay Area and beyond. Chey is an ER nurse by day, while Stefanos is all kink all the time in his professional life as the Steward of The Upper Floor on Kink.com and as DM and manager of Bondage-a-Go-Go. They are compulsive volunteers within the leather community, and identify as pansexual polyamorist playsluts (and probably a few other P’s they haven’t thought of yet). They have performed, presented, and hosted events at many venues including the SF Citadel, Mission Control, NorthWest Leather Celebration, KinkAcademy.com, the Exotic Erotic Ball, Behind Closed Doors in Arizona, and in a number of documentaries across the world. Get the most out of your body’s tingly bits!.  The human body is full of nerves and erogenous zones to give and receive pleasure that we will explore using visual aids as well fun interactive activities.   Join us for the hunt for buried pleasure.

About the presenter:

JDelicious aka JD has been a certified Sexuality Educator for over 10 years and teaching sex education for 20 years.  She earned her Masters of Divinity, Starr King School for the Ministry in Berkeley, CA with a concentration in human sexuality and theology. She is known for her quick wit and her ability to bring respectful hilarity to the topic of human sexuality.  She was formerly the volunteer coordinator for St. James Infirmary, SF’s sex worker health clinic. She currently is teaching sex education to over 3000 students of San Francisco’s public schools each. She also has been trained by the Body Electric School as sacred intimate and teaches erotic massage techniques to San Francisco’s sex positive party communities.

Who’s the Boss?

For those who want to add a little spice, playfulness, fantasy, and mental connection to their sex lives, this class is for you! Undressing, kissing, dirty talk, and foreplay- all the sexy things you already do can be slightly adjusted to fit into bedroom dominance. We will start by introducing the idea of playing with power exchange and discuss using safewords to enhance your play. We’ll show some specific techniques to get you started (including kissing, hair pulling, verbalization, and using teeth and nails for maximum effect), and finish it off with a detailed demonstration of reading and using body language in this context.

Blues Dancing

On the surface, Blues dance looks like a slower, sexier version of the Lindy Hop and Swing dancing. Beneath that cursory view is a depth of connection, expression, and tension in the dance between partners and the music they’re moving to that goes well beyond the simple steps.

Our Teacher:
Aaron is a local Blues dance enthusiast and Pink regular, excited to bring these two worlds together. His class will demonstrate the Blues dance basic steps, and focus on the environment of the dance: asking a potential dance partner out onto the dance floor, establishing connection, expressing movement intention, the polarity of leading and following, and exploring how to carry an incredible dance off the floor and into the Pink space.

Stay on then to practice your steps on the Pink dance floor as we launch the party with a sexy, bluesy set.

Comfortable and sexy attire recommended. Please do not wear high heels.
