The Venue

Kinky Salon takes place at Mission Control,  our private venue in the Mission in San Francisco. From the outside you would never know it’s there, so make sure you bring the address with you if it’s your first time. Mission Control is labyrinth of themed rooms which bursts with color and ambiance.

The Themes

We have a different theme each month, and the costumes that people create are a big part of the vibe here at Kinky Salon. Sometimes we repeat the themes, but most of the time it’s a fresh new theme each month!

The Dresscode

Dressing up is a really important part of the Kinky Salon experience. Some people love it straight away, hand making custom costumes for themselves and throwing themselves head first into a theme. For some people it’s a bit harder- they feel intimidated and don’t know where to start. The thing to remember is that it’s not about how cool or expensive your clothes are, we are working on a different scale here. For us, ridiculousness and humor are the traits we find sexy.  Remember- you can never be over (or under)-dressed for a Kinky Salon! Please note: WE NEVER ALLOW JEANS, KHAKI or SPORTSWEAR.

Kinky Salon is a community dedicated to the safe and consensual exploration of sex-positive self- expression. We celebrate all forms of diversity and encourage all members and guests to equally uphold our community’s Standards of behavior.

ANYONE showing up inappropriately dressed, under-informed or with the wrong attitude is subject to be turned away at the door.  As always BYOB & PAL required.  This is a private event.  21 and over only (we check ID!) No alcohol will be served.
